ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka College senior guard Hayley Reneau (Washington, Ill./Washington H.S./Illinois Central) has been named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season and the third time in her 37-game EC career, according to an announcement from league office on Monday afternoon.

Reneau averaged 23.7 points and shot 47 percent (29-for-62) from the field in three starts last week, including a 71-54 SLIAC win at Blackburn on Dec. 9. She put up 23 points and added four steals against traditional Division III power Illinois Wesleyan last Monday and followed that effort with 19 points, eight steals and five assists in the Red Devils' league win at Blackburn on Saturday.

Less than 12 hours after EC's win at Blackburn, Reneau made five 3-pointers en route to 29 points in Eureka's "Midnight Madness" win over Lincoln Christian on Sunday morning.

Reneau leads the SLIAC with 25.0 points per game and is on pace to challenge Sherry Bryan's 33-year-old single-season Eureka record of 23.3 points per game set during the 1985-86 season. Reneau also ranks first among league players with 38 steals and has hit 30 3-pointers to ranks second in the SLIAC.

Eureka will shoot for its third straight conference victory this Saturday at 1 p.m. against Webster at Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena.
