FULTON, Mo. – Eureka College women's basketball sophomore Kerrigan Dura (Brimfield, Ill./Brimfield) tied a career-high scoring 13 points, but the Westminster Blue Jays established an early lead to take the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest, 63-43, Saturday afternoon in Fulton, Mo.
Eureka drops to 9-12 overall and 8-6 in conference action. Westminster moves to 16-4 on the season and 12-2 in the SLIAC. The loss snaps a six-game conference winning streak for the Red Devils.
Senior Emily Camden (Green Valley, Ill./Midwest Central) added ten points for the visitors, while junior Michaela Balducci (Eureka, Ill./Eureka) pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.
WC's Adrea Zalis finished the evening with a game-high 15 points, while Krista Armontrout supplied 14.
Eureka will return to the Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center Wednesday for a 6 p.m. conference matchup against the Iowa Wesleyan Tigers.
