Eureka got on the board in the fourth inning after a walk by Daniels, a single by Bria Wessel (Peoria, Ill./Limestone) and an RBI double to center by Douglas. The Rams then got back-to-back outs to leave two stranded, but the Red Devils broke through with three runs on three hits in the fifth.

Morris singled with one out to bring in the team's second run of the day. Daniels notched an RBI groundout, and after Ashlyn Voyles (Farmer City, Ill./Farmer City) singled to put runners on the corners, Wessel had an RBI sac fly to make it 4-4.

Gada Bryant (Westville, Ill./Bismark-Henning/Rossville-Alvin/Lincoln) had a pair of stolen bases, and Voyles and Macey Whisker (Washington, Ill./Washington/Illinois Central College) each had one.
