ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka College senior shortstop Kerrigan Dura (Edwards, Ill./Brimfield H.S.) repeated as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week and senior right-hander Kali George (East Peoria, Ill./East Peoria H.S.) was tabbed SLIAC Pitcher of the Week after the duo led the Red Devils to a big league sweep of Principia last Saturday.

Dura is the SLIAC Hitter of the Week for the second consecutive week and the fifth time in her three-season career. Dura led a Eureka lineup that produced 23 hits in the twin bill sweep, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and five RBI. She also accepted a walk to finish the week with a .857 on-base percentage.

George earned her four career SLIAC Pitcher of the Week honor after throwing 6.0 innings in the Red Devils' 12-4 over the Panthers on Saturday. She scattered three hits, struck out seven and allowed only one earned run.

Off to a 12-2 start for the second time in the last three seasons, Eureka's Wednesday doubleheader at Greenville has already been postponed due to a weekend snow event throughout Illinois. The next games on the schedule for the Red Devils are this Friday at Knox in Galesburg, Ill. The non-conference doubleheader against the Prairie Fire is set for 3:30 p.m.
