Wet Weather Forces Schedule Changes to Baseball, Softball

EUREKA, Ill. -- A rare March snowstorm and subsequent rainfall have forced multiple changes to the Eureka College baseball and softball schedules.

Tuesday's softball doubleheader at Knox has been postponed and rescheduled for Friday, April 6 at 3:30 p.m. in Galesburg.

Wednesday's SLIAC baseball doubleheader at Spalding has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, April 25 at 1 p.m. CT in Louisville, Ky.

Wednesday's SLIAC softball doubleheader at Iowa Wesleyan has been postponed and rescheduled for Thursday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m. in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

This weekend's 3-game SLIAC baseball series at Fontbonne has also been changed. Eureka will now play a doubleheader Friday at noon at CarShield Field in O'Fallon, Mo. The two teams will play a single game at noon on Saturday at CarShield Field.

This Saturday's SLIAC softball doubleheader against Principia has been moved to Metamora Township High School. Start time remains 11 a.m.
