EUREKA – Westminster edged the Eureka men's soccer team in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday, 2-0.
The Blue Jays controlled possession for much of the first half, but the Red Devils managed to keep them off the board until the 27th minute when Francios Moua found space on the right slide and placed it into the lower left corner.
The Red Devils' push for the equalizer came up short, and the team fell behind by two goals in the 78th minute when Adam Luetkemeyer scored off a header following a corner kick.

Tyler Russow (Streator, Ill./Streator/Lincoln), Isaac Noriega (Chicago, Ill./Muchin College Prep/Lincoln), Khalil Alleyne ( Diego Martin, Trinidad/Fatima College/Lincoln) and Milan Bajgai (Manchester, England/Swinton/Lincoln) each had a shot on goal for the Red Devils.
