CARLINVILLE, Ill. – The Blackburn men's soccer bested Eureka 8-0 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday afternoon.
The Red Devils trailed the Beavers 4-0 at halftime, and the home team added four more goals after the half, completing a season sweep over EC. Seven different Beavers found the back of the net in team's win.
Diego Cintora (Watseka, Ill./Watseka) had the Red Devils' lone shot, while goalkeeper Bryer Beadles (Mattoon, Ill./Mattoon) notched 13 saves in net.
Eureka will wrap up the spring 2021 regular season on Saturday with a 3:30 p.m. match at Webster.
