FENTON, Mo. – Webster's Austin Peirce netted his second goal of the contest, a game winner in the 87th minute, lifting the Gorloks to a 3-2 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Eureka, Saturday afternoon at Soccer Park in Fenton, Mo.
Sophomore Brady Thomas (Mt. Pulaski, Ill./Mt. Pulaski) scored his 10 goal of the season, an equalizer in the 32nd minute off an assist by junior Mark Murphy (Morton, Ill./Morton). Freshman James Bowen (Homer Glen, Ill./Seneca) found the back of the net on an unassisted score in the 50th minute to even the score at 2-2.
Sophomore Daniel Johnson (Eureka, Ill./Eureka) recorded seven saves between the post for the visitors.
The Red Devils will step away from conference play to travel to Ripon, Wis. for a 4 p.m. bout with Ripon on Thursday.
