BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Eureka College senior running back Le'Anthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.) added to his list of postseason honors Tuesday when he was named to the D3football.com All-North Region First Team. Reasnover is the first Red Devil to repeat on the D3football.com regional honor roll as well as well as Eureka's first football player named to the First Team.

2018 D3football.com All-Region Teams

Tuesday's announcement marks Eureka's fifth D3football.com All-Region selection. Wide receiver and EC Hall of Famer Wes Schmidgall was picked for the Third Team in 2011 and Trever Zeibert was named to the Third Team in 2016. Reasnover and Ryan Barth were All-Region Second Team honorees in 2017.

Players were nominated for these awards by sports information directors at the various schools. A total of 1,029 players were nominated. All-Region teams were selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff. All players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for the D3football.com All-America Team to be announced on Friday, Dec. 14.

A preseason D3football.com All-American in 2018, Reasnover capped his decorated four-year career with an outstanding senior campaign, rushing for 2,187 yards and 40 touchdowns to be named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Year. He ran for 125 yards or more in all 10 of the Red Devils' regular-season contests, including five 200-yard games and back-to-back 300-yard games at Concordia (Wis.) on Oct. 27 and Lakeland on Nov. 3. Reasnover broke the single-game NACC record with five rushing touchdowns against Wisconsin Lutheran on Oct. 6 and went on to match his own record in each of the next four weekends.

Reasnover finished the 10-game regular season as the NCAA Division III leader in rushing touchdowns and total points scored. His final scoring total of 252 fell eight points shy of tying the single-season Division III record.

In all, Reasnover finished his 41-game career as the owner or more than a dozen school records, including all-time marks in rushing attempts (1,056), rushing yards (6,036), rushing touchdowns (95), total touchdowns (99) and points scored (600). He also owns single-season Eureka records in rushing yards (2,187), rushing touchdowns (40) and points scored (252). Reasnover's single-game records were set with 355 rushing yards against St. Scholastica on Oct. 28, 2017 and seven touchdowns at Martin Luther on Nov. 4, 2017.

He was the 10th player in NCAA Division III history to reach the 6,000-yard plateau and his 600 career points were third-most in Division III history.

Reasnover is one of 13 finalists for the Gagliardi Trophy, awarded annually to the most outstanding player in NCAA Division III. Four finalists will be revealed Thursday, Dec. 6 and the winner will be announced on Friday, Dec. 14.

The Red Devils went 9-2 overall and 6-1 in conference action in 2018 to win the outright NACC championship in their first season as an affiliate member. Eureka also qualified for its second consecutive NCAA Division III playoffs field and earned its fourth overall national playoffs bid.
