Kurt Barth Announces 2018 Youth Football Camp Dates

EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka College football head coach Kurt Barth has announced dates for his Red Devil Youth Football Camp at McKinzie Field on the campus of Eureka College. The four-day camp for youths ages seven through 13 will begin Monday, June 19 and run through Thursday, June 22. The camp will last from 9 a.m. until noon each day.

Eureka Football to Join Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference

EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka College will join the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference as an associate football member in 2018, the College announced Monday. Eureka will retain its full-time membership with the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in all other men’s and women’s sports.

Red Devils Receive Votes in Final AFCA Top 25 Poll

WACO, Texas -- For the first time since 1994, the Eureka College football team has received votes in a national top 25 poll after appearing on at least one ballot in the final American Football Coaches Association Division III Coaches’ Poll released on Monday. Eureka, the only Upper Midwest Athletic Conference member to receive votes and one of only five schools from the state of Illinois to appear on a ballot, received two votes in the final AFCA poll.

LeAnthony Reasnover Named to AFCA All-America Team

WACO, Texas -- The best season by a running back in the 127-year history of Eureka College football was further rewarded Tuesday when junior LeAnthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.) was named to the American Football Coaches Association Division III Coaches’ All-America Second Team, according to an announcement from the AFCA. Reasnover is Eureka’s first-ever AFCA All-American.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Eureka College junior offensive tackle Ryan Barth (Minonk, Ill./Fieldcrest H.S.) and junior running back LeAnthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.) have been selected for the 13th annual D3football.com All-West Region Second Team, according to an announcement from the website Tuesday evening. The announcement marks the first time Eureka has landed multiple players on the regional honor roll in the same season.

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Eureka College football team took the field in its first NCAA postseason game Saturday, coming up short in a 47-8 first-round defeat at #4 St. Thomas (Minn.) at O'Shaughnessy Stadium in St. Paul, Minn. The decision ends the Red Devils' season with an 8-3 record.

PAUL, Minn. -- The Eureka College football team will return to the national postseason for the first time in more than two decades when the Red Devils travel to #4/#4 St. Thomas (Minn.) for a noon kickoff Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium in St. Paul, Minn. The contest against the Tommies is Eureka’s first-ever NCAA Division III playoff game and its first postseason game since playing in the 1994 NAIA Division II tournament.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Eight Eureka College football players have received All-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference honors, according to a Wednesday announcement from the league office. Additionally, junior offensive tackle Ryan Barth (Minonk, Ill./Fieldcrest H.S.) has been voted UMAC Lineman of the Year and junior running back LeAnthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.) is the UMAC Offensive Player of the Year.

Eureka to Travel to St. Thomas to Open NCAA Playoffs

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Eureka College football team will visit St. Thomas (Minn.) in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs, according to a Sunday announcement from the NCAA. The Red Devils and Tommies are slated for a noon CST kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 18 at O'Shaughnessy Stadium in St. Paul, Minn.

EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College Department of Athletics is inviting the public to join the Red Devils for their NCAA Selection Show watch party Sunday afternoon at Kep's Sports Bar & Grill, 313 Muller Road in Washington, Ill. Fans are encouraged to arrive by 3:30 p.m. A short program will begin prior to the selection show at 4:30 p.m.

PAUL, Minn. – Another huge rushing performance has brought another Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award for Eureka College junior running back LeAnthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.), the league office announced Monday. Reasnover ran for 252 yards and broke his own single-game school record with seven rushing touchdowns in the Red Devils’ 63-26 victory at Martin Luther that clinched the league’s outright championship.

NEW ULM, Minn. – The Eureka College football team defeated Martin Luther 63-26 Saturday in New Ulm, Minn. to secure the outright Upper Midwest Athletic Conference championship and its first trip to the NCAA playoffs. The Red Devils are league champions for the first time since winning the Illini-Badger Football Conference crown in 1995.

With a victory, EC can secure at least a share of the UMAC title and earn the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Division III playoffs.

EUREKA, Ill. – On an afternoon in which junior running back LeAnthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.) broke all-time, single-season and single-game Eureka College rushing records, the Red Devils moved within one victory of an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference championship and their first national playoffs bid since 1994 in a 40-34 league win over St. Scholastica at a frigid McKinzie Field, Saturday afternoon.
