EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College baseball team dropped the series finale of a three-game set against St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent Westminster College, Sunday afternoon at Henry Sand Field.
Sophomore Ray Vogel (Bartonville, Ill./Limestone) drove in Eureka's only run of the contest, scoring freshman Grant Mullin(Hegewisch, Ill./St. Rita).
Classmate Trever Zeibert (Monee, Ill./Peotone) extended his hitting streak to eleven games with a single to shortstop in the sixth.
The Red Devils take the field again Tuesday with a non-conference tilt against the Robert-Morris Peoria. First pitch of the home contest is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
