ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Eureka College baseball team dropped a pair of St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contests to Fontbonne University, Saturday afternoon in St. Louis, Mo. The Red Devils dropped game one, 5-0, and later fell in the nightcap, 13-1.
Sophomore Trever Zeibert (Monee, Ill./Peotone) collected a pair of hits in the nightcap, while freshman Thomas Harrison (Bushnell, Ill./Bushnell-Prairie City) drove in the Red Devils' only run on the day with a single to left field to plate Zeibert.
The Red Devils will wrap up the three-game set with Griffins tomorrow with the series finale beginning at 12 p.m.
