The 1985-86 men's basketball team finished the season 21-5, setting what was then a school record for wins in a season.
The team was selected to the NAIA state playoffs as a five seed, the highest in program history at the time. That season, Eureka won the Prairie College Conference championship with a 10-0 record and went 10-0 on its home floor at the Reagan Center.
The Red Devils put together a 16-game winning streak that lasted from Dec. 14, 1985 to Feb. 21, 2016, setting a school record. The team also reached No. 3 in the NAIA rankings, another school record at the time.
