Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center

Opened in 1970 and renovated in 2015, Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center at the Reagan Athletic Complex serves as the home for Eureka College volleyball and basketball.

A multi-million dollar renovation in the summer of 2015 included a state-of-art floor and 1,000 chair-back seats in a horseshoe configuration that is the only NCAA Division III facility in the state of Illinois with all chair-back seating.. A new floor plan provides two volleyball or basketball courts for classes, intramurals, and intercollegiate competition.

In addition to the arena renonvations, the complex also features a complete HVAC system that provides climate control 365 days of the year and hosts the College's annual commencement every May.

The playing surface -- Dave Darnall Court -- is named after iconic Eureka College men's basketball head coach Dave Darnall. Darnall, who guided the Red Devils for 20 seasons (1974-94), won 383 games and led EC to the 1994 NAIA Division II national championship. He was inducted into the Eureka College Athletics Hall of Fame in 1999.

In five seasons since the renovations, the Red Devils have thrived in their new home. The men's basketball program boasts a 45-15 home record (.750). The women's basketball team has also won 44 games at home, including the 2017 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament championship game. The volleyball team went 6-4 at home in 2016, its most home victories since 2005.

In celebration of the renovations of The Reagan Athletic Complex and dedication of the new Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center in 2015, three American flags were flown with special connections to the Reagan brothers for whom the complex was originally named in 1970.
